I am sick of this...trade Mims or play him Enough of the Saleh double talk its just bullshit My biggest takeaway is that Crowder is still THE MAN and will bail our Kid out for games to come Pour the guy a "Jameson" on the rocks
They did play him. He's not good enough right now to get ample playing time. I think that's pretty obvious. The idea that Mims is a top notch receiver is laughable. While he has a great skillset, he suffers with his route running and seperation. The only catch he had was a blown coverage. Outside of that, he has shown nothing to this staff. I don't think they want to trade him because they want to continue working with him and hope he has a larger role in the near future.
I want mims to succeed but if he can’t beat out Barrios, or Smyth to carve out a role that’s a concern in its self Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I mean how smart or football savvy does he have to be? Jesus ..you have a QB with a rocket arm ..just tell Mims to take off and Zach will find him like he found Davis today..he is fast right? so he outruns the DB ..there's your separation. No? He doesnt need Fitzs Wonderlic score does he? maybe Mims has a bad attitude or misses Texas lol If he does suck whats that role he will have down the road?
I keep reading people say "just run deep". I think that's exactly the problem. If that is the only thing he can do, why would he be on the field? Again, this coaching staff would have to be out of their mind to not play a guy who would have such a positive impact.
If he could help the team win, he would play. its as simple as that. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
I agree and your right BUT.... I have to say it is tempting to imagine what might happen if we start getting Mims downfield on the receiving end of some of these semi-disciplined heaves Wilson seems to like throwing. He converted a couple of them today and it was exciting but I think that needs to get ironed out a little bit for sustained long term success.
It wasn't perfect as David caused INT again by stumbling. But this time good definitely outweighed the bad for WR room after the first quarter. Hopefully they can keep this up, while causing no more INTs.
I am not sick of anything...there is no spot for Mims, sorry. And why does Davis drop so many balls that aren't perfectly thrown to him? Guy has to help out ZW a bit here.
people are out of hand with this guy now. we have a VERY deep WR room. If Mims can't get on the field, that's no one's problem but his. Period. Hard stop.
