Just stopped by quickly to make sure I didn't miss out on the Footbal pool and figured I'd take a quick look around. Couple of quick thoughts on the Jets so people don't yell at me for posting a non-Jets related thread. Chad is a nice surpised. Sort of hoped it would go like this but didn't necessarily believe it would. Still like our receiving corp and look forward to seeing what they can do with a healthy QB. D'Brick and Mangold look like solid picks and while I'm sorry A. Jones seems to have gotten bumped Clement definitely seems like a better fit for RT. Mangini sounds like he's trying a bit too hard to be "tough". While I like most of what he's trying to do I think the QB competition was a joke after a while and that like any coach he's trying to install "HIS" system despite the players. That's not necessarily a bad thing because you can only do so much and the sooner you start people learning your system the sooner it can produce results. This is probably one of the reasons most coaches do this. Overall it's probably going to be an interesting and frustrating season. We have much more talent then last year's record would lead one to believe and it's just going to be a question of staying healthy, playing up to potential, and learning Mangini's schemes. I still probably won't be on the board too much thanks to work being crazed but I do hope to check in a bit more then I have the past few months.
