The Jets brought it today. Yeah... we lost... but I had a house full of Pats fans who were worried right til the end. That does not = irrelevant OR suck. Calm the fuck down.
I'm not suicidal. What I really learned today is that this team is so damned good its hilarious. If we ever played a complete game, we would be ass-raping every opponent we play. But we havent even come close this year. The Jags game was total domination by the defense, our offense was above average at best.
there is a lot to be worried about man. look at the schedule. you see a lot of easy games? 4 more Ls and it is going to be real tough to make the playoffs. Mark doesnt turn into Joe Montana UNTIL the playoffs, so we got real problems
meh, it's not about suicidal. it's just about maximum frustration with one particular aspect (offensive playcalling). sure the drops hurt, but that wasn't on every drive. this has been a theme over the past few years. we've won in spite of it, and occasionally schotty will call a good game or two in a row that saves his job or doesn't make the offense look terrible for certain stretches. but he hasn't done that this year and it's the schotty we all hate. enough is enough with this guy.
if romo didnt romo, we would have one win. we are closer to the Luck sweepstakes than being a SB contender if team keeps playing like this
The problems run deeper than just playcalling. I watched with Pats fans, too. They figured their defense would sit back in coverage, and we would go right down the field on them. They weren't wrong, but our defense failed when we needed a stop, so we didn't get a chance for the 2nd score we needed.
About Man Bags Men's Bags also know as a "murse" or man bag, are very fashion forward and are being seen more and more, not only on the runway but in the streets. A murse is usually a shoulder or messenger type bag that can generally hold a laptop along with a lot of the same items a regular purse would hold. They feature extra pockets and zippers to keep everything organized and in it’s place.
One of the benefits of having zero expecations is that you don't freak out after a loss, or a sloppy win. I guess I've been on the roller coaster with this team too many times before. I pull for my team, and enjoy each play and each game for what it is. Things will get better. Hopefully. Or maybe not.
I hope you're kidding... Last year, I would have totally agreed with you. We had games where the offense was good and the defense let us down, and vice versa. I hoped we'd eventually put it all together, but we didn't. But show me the game this year where our offense was good. It's not there. And every unit of our offense has major question marks. And while over the long haul, I don't worry much about our defense, it hasn't played as well as it did last year.
There is no reason to be too upset with this game (except that I watched it with my f*cking annoying Bostonian father-in-law....bad f*cking winner). Overall, I think the Jets played OK....the Pats are just better (the last two losses hurt more). I think there is a real chance we beat them at home. In general, I think we will win a bunch....there's just very little margin for error. Win the next two and we have a chance to salvage the season.
totally serious. Last year we had one phase show up each week. This year we get every phase to show up in the same game. When they are on, they are lights out. When they are off its abysmally bad. Offensively, we have had drives like todays where you go, that was so easy, we should score every time! Anthen the other half of the game they can't get out of their own way. Defensively, we are not the run stuffing squad of a year ago. Which by nature means opposing offenses jobs are easier, and they get the chance to PA fake us to death if they want too. ST wise, our punter is definately a downgrade in the regular season. Mcknight clearly is an excellent KR, while Kerley may be the best PR guy we have had since Santana Moss. Folk shockingly, hasn't missed a kick yet this year. But then our ST blows a coverage today because of an awful Conley punt. If we ever had one phase plays a complete game, we probably would be winning games. If we actually had all 3 phases show up at the same time and play a complete game? I think we could beat the Packers 50-10. That said, i don't see it happening any tiem soon...
Its cuz we are 2-3 and looking up at 2 teams suprisingly. Lets go beat the crap out of the Dolphins. We cant change the past but certainly control the future.
