How come since the hire of Wade Phillips, all I hear is how TO will eat him alive, and the OC alive and how TO will have more control now that Tuna is gone...

Hell if I was the coach id tell him to sit his lazy ass on the bench untill he shut up, then when he opened his mouth again, he'd be right back on the bench.

Or, I would just have Romo leaving him high and dry, making him extend for balls in the air, and then getting shit kicked out of him by either a LB or corner. Then when he comes over to the sideline limping and wincing, just say "you gonna shut up yet?"

I have no tolerance for people like him, so just sit him, or make him pay by getting blasted across the middle.

    done deal.

I think your hatred for T.O. is unnatural. First off T.O. is not a lazy-ass, he is one of the hardest working players in football who never takes a play off. I think espn hates T.O. to an extent in which they try to make a story out of every nonstory involving T.O.. I dont remember too many if any controversial quotes from T.O. last year which blasted Parcells or put his team under the bus. He is a pain in the ass in the media or off the field but never on sunday. Finally if you would try to get T.O. hurt on the field then you would send a bad message to your team which would lose respect for you. If you wanted to deal w/ T.O. you could do everything behind closed doors like a first class organization or could air out your dirty laundry and handle him in a negative way. I dont understand your final sentence. Sit him or make him pay? T.O. hasnt done anything yet and your trying to get this man's acl torn. bottom line is you cant blame T.O. for something some loser sports reporter projected would happen.

Ok, well the sideline crap he pulled this year, yelling his head off, and then throwing parcells under the bus on his way out. thats annoying. When you miss the majority of training camp for a bs injury just because you dont want to practice, thats annoying. Dressing up like you're in the god damn tour de france when you're supposed to be injured, thats annoying. When you drop simple catches....AND THEN LAUGH about it, thats annoying. All of these things he has done this year. You say that he doesnt throw people under the bus. He called out McNabb, threw him under the bus, if you throw your QB under the bus then who will you not???

if TO was a mute...he would go down as one of the top 5 wrs of all-time
TO is just an idiot...but the guy plays harder than anyone, is better than almost anyone(fading b/c of age), just ignore him completely
the media is partly to blame...
TO doesnt have the greatest hands(although his drops are spotlighted more than any other player maybe in history)...but he has the ability to dominate
he is 4th alltime in wr TDs for a reason...led the league in tds 3 times and would have been a 4th time if not for the injury in 04
the guy plays through injuries when it matters and has great discipline with his body(and the opposite with his mouth)
i've been posting it alot lately, but if you look at his numbers and the fact that he can still play...the guy is a lock for the hall of fame
its not like he has taken steroids

Im not making an excuse for him but he was playing with a torn tendon in his finger, and his performance in Super Bowl 39 would have put him down as a Super Bowl legend had the eagles won

Im not taking away his SB performance his finger is an excuse and a lousy one yea the proper fundamentals tell a WR to use his fingers to catch a ball but he had devices speacilly made for him to play he just should of sat out and let Terry Glenn carry them ...And after he was healed he dropped routine passes .

    T. O. Singlehandedly lost that Redskin game this year, dropping a wide open bomb for a touchdown.

Im not question his training program. When T.O was with The Eagles he did a clinic for the area ffotball teams up in my area and he told and showed the kids what he does . He does sum crazy stuff .. lake catching a medicine ball and having a trainer try to strip it ... running like a Cheatah and core exercises out the ying yang ... So I just dont like him as a person .. He brings to much drama I HATE DRAMA !!!!

Whatever he did on the sideline the guys still led the league in TD's and thats all that counts. Coles was talking all year and so what?He still had over 1000 yards. You guys neeed to get away from the nonsense that surrounds the game and look at what the players do.

That was a bad drop but, Cowboys were winning by a td i believe when he dropped that ball. You cant call him selfish and doesnt care about the team if your going to blame him for his defense giving up the lead.

I really don't have a problem with the guy. His drops should definitely be enlarged and put under a microscope since he and other claim he is the best WR in the game today.

But off the field, every little thing he does gets so overblown. I can't count how many times Owens led off Sportscenter this year, it almost makes the show unwatchable. It's gotten so bad, so he has an ego and brings something totally different to the game...Maybe he likes it, who knows...

I think the people getting arrested are far, far worse role models than TO. He's an arrogant arse, but largely harmless if you just ignore him.
