    I thought it was because our opponents fans were so stupid they couldn't spell Jets.

    It's because there all too stupid to be creative and come up with something better

    same thing us all calling the pats, the pasts. Or the raiders the faiders.

    Stupid insult names to call opposing fanbases. They are all stupid, but yet are meaningful insults to the opposing fanbases. In the sense that pasts is a meaningful insult to us even though pats fans could give 2 shits about it.

    :rofl: yeah but that was hysterical. yes it was embarrassing to our fan base but I still crack up when I see that clip. He looks like the dad on Still Standing(that show was on CBS a few years ago).

    What about "yets"?

    I assume it's because we haven't won anything big in over 40 years but it's still lame.

    Spankees, patsies, bungles, dolphags, are all better IMO.
