This has nothing to do with whether the Jets should or shouldnt, could or couldnt sign Peyton. But rather if it happens, if anyone would give even a scrap of shit about the Cmen anymore. I mean they just won a superbowl and people still really dont give a crap about them at all, possibly just a side effect of their superbowl run being 90% luck and 10% skill who knows. Eitherway im curious what others think on this. I just cant see anyway that people care about the Cmen at all when they end up missing the playoffs, while Peyton Mania is going on
Throw a "I need a beer" option and this poll will see some serious debates. What kind of question is this? The Giants just won a SB, they will remain relevant until they have a playoff-less season. Right now, the Jets are in shambles, the Giants are on a high.
you're trying too hard. in all seriousness, why would jets fans even want Peyton? Sanchez has tools that he can develop and you have a franchise QB. Not an aging star who has health concerns. sanchez needs to get smarter with anticipating 2nd and 3 reads, in addition he needs to either trust his linemen or accept the fact that he may have to hang in the pocket and deal with the hits. he's great throwing on the run, athletic and his deep ball can probably get better because it's not as bad as the scouts said.
They won't be irrelevant at all and there is a zero chance Peyton goes to the jets, so I'm not voting on this poll
Do I sound angry? I certainly don't feel angry. This post was about greener pastures, and pushing our dear little brother to try their hardest to stay relevant. Id feel awful if they had to spend the next 10 years dogging it out with the Bills fighting for the scraps of NY
Yup, the team who has won two super bowls in the past 4 years including defeating an 18-0 team in SB42 becomes irrelevant when a team that hasn't won a SB in 42 years signs a 36 year old QB coming off of 3 neck surgeries who may never throw the football the same ever again. You hit the nail right on the head, OP. Please pass the blunt. Somebody should have thought this one through before hitting the submit button.
