[*do-over*, not do-ver ] On one hand, RGIII looks spectacular and is leaps and bounds above Sam Bradford; he is a clear franchise Qb, at least for the Redskins. On the other, with the trade the Rams got DT Michael Brockers, CB Janoris Jenkins, RB Isaiah Pead, G Rokevious Watkins and the Redskins' 2013 and 2014 first-round picks. With this infusion of talent, they were able to turn their team around somewhat, as argued in this article: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20130101/jeff-fisher-rams/?sct=uk_t12_a5 Then again, getting a franchise Qb is every team's number one priority and Sam Bradford's future is not completely clear. In hindsight, should they have taken RGIII?
I would still do the trade. I still need to see more of RG3, Wilson and Luck. One season is not enough.
Rg3 isnt the sole reason, Kirk Cousins won them 2 games against Baltimore and the Browns. And from what I saw Sunday, without Morris, RG3 prolly isnt as good,
After one season, yes I would do the trade on pure football reasoning, but still too eraly to call. Also, not sure how you could justify Bradford getting all that money and missing on him or not trying 100% to come up successful on that investment.
The problem is no one would trade for Bradford with a fat contract like that unless they had an absolute solution to whatever is currently holding him back.
RG3 is good but he is also benefiting from Morris and Redskins game plan. Put him in Rams and he might not be as successful. Let's wait some more
