Get any offensive playmaker from FA, Vincent Jackson, Miles Austin, Brandon Marshall, etc.

    Then draft Spiller, Bryant, etc.

Maybe then will score more than 7 FUCKING POINTS

they left 9 on the field and a PF on Jones knocked them out of a chance for more...this game should have been over going into the 4th qtr!!

The Jets should have scored 16 today, 1 missed FG, a botched snap/hold and a block. Unfuckinbelievable

See, this is an important thread because without it I would've thought, DON'T improve the offense in the offseason. But now I know.

Alright, get us an offensive coordinator.

We need help at quarterback and special teams. Hopefully Sanchez improves with time, but right now it looks ugly. A return specialist would be nice and a better snapper/holder combo.

Sanchez on his second year will be an improvement, it might not be enough to get them there next year, but give him time and they will

    We have the pieces.

If we had an OC that tried designing and implementing solid, coherent playcalling and offensive drives instead of trying all this cutesy, 'outsmart-them-by-outsmarting-myself' bullshit, then maybe we'd score more than 7 fucking points on a cold, windy day in the northeast against one of the lower-end defenses in the league.

We will be getting Leon back, if he's healthy there's the return specialist

and Clemens will be gone so that's addition by subtraction with the holder

The only thing wrong with this offense is suspect playcalling and Sanchez, drafting and signing more players to put on an offense that already has alot of talent wont mean anything if Sanchez still stinks. Braylon is good, Cotch is good, B Smith is getting better, TJ is ok, Greene has a lot of promise, Keller has been a bit off but still has loads of talent and potential, the offensive line is great except for Faneca, and the TE's we use for blocking are terrible, minus the converted linemen.

Obviously our D should be even better next season. That is a plus. I think our offense needs an overhaul though. Desperate like.

I had doubts about MS, I have stayed positive, but after today. I just don't know. I don't think he can handle it, he has the tools, but he is severely rattled. I think starting him his first year was a very huge mistake. Hands down.

We need some young blood for our OL. Blocking TE. Better play from the QB postion.

I actually look at our offense and I think to myself.. Why? Why are we struggling, we actually have some quality players... Oh wait.. We have MS, the turnover machine. Right.

EDIT: We also have an incompetent OC. That is good too.

Our offense struggles mainly because our QB is not a good QB.

We have everyone on offense that we need. We just need better performance at the QB position.

Why do you think that a WR and a RB will make this offense top teir? What will they do?

I guess when the only positions out of the 11 on offense that matter are WR, RB, and QB, you're guaranteed wins if those players are good, right?....come on man....

there is a big difference between a rookie QB and a bad QB, Sanchez will improve, and he will be a franchise QB

The best way to improve this offense is to not fire anyone. Bring everyone back, especially Shottenjunior. Commit to Sanchez. Re-sign Braylon. Get some depth on the o-line. The offense is gonna need some time to take off.

Based on what? What have you seen out of MS that makes you say to yourself, "yep he is our future, and it looks bright"?

I said that to myself after game two of this season, wow what a negative turn around since.

This is what I think. We don't need to upgrade any of the starters... we need to upgrade the offensive coordinator.

Our defense overachieves with its talent... our offense underachieves, and that's on the coordinator.
