I gotta be honest, sometimes he does look like a young Elway to me, only bigger. Dude definitely has wheels, and a fucking cannon of an arm. Of course, much more often he looks like Tim Tebow, true.
He's inaccuracy has an upside. Ball security. It's not easy to get an INT when you read his eyes or the WR.
lol - yeah missing wide open receivers completely gives the defense all the upside in the world to relax on the bench. Can't wait to see Diggs join in on the party.
In all fairness this is the only reason I can see that makes sense in joining an oppositions fansite, go in hard take the piss as much as you can before you get banned, not these lickspittle arsewipes who pretend they like to talk football with other teams fans but secretly wish they could be like the one that was banned. There is an example of one of these arguing about Josh Allen (who else) right now. His post was that long I thought a certain somebody had defected to another team for a minute, he must have a cousin in Buffalo.
I got no problem with BillsOverJets, his name says it all. He’s here to talk shit, which is fine, we’re not made of glass. We can return fire pretty well. It’s the passive aggressive pricks like Patriot and PickSix who pretend to be Jets fans that I have zero tolerance for. Why tools like that retain privileges astounds me.
Not turning the ball over when you have good special teams and a great D wins football games even in today's NFL. His inability to get the ball near WR is helping the Bills win. They get less game changing turnovers.
Yeah sure in the regular season, but it's the absolute best way to get yourselves booted out in the first round. You need to exhibit the ability to make 2 or 3 throws to help your team win when it matters the most. Josh Allen in that playoff game is the perfect example against the Texans, one guy makes 1 play to win the game and the other guy makes a play to lose it. Who are you taking in a playoff game? Sanchez or Josh Allen?
Elway didn't panic under pressure, even in his early years. Allen has all the signs of a stress attack when he is under pressure, right down to doing the same stupid things on back to back plays. Keeping moving under pressure is a good thing. Turning your back to the pass rush and retreating is not and that's one of Allen's signature moves at this point. Go watch the playoff game again. Buffalo wins that game with almost any other QB. He did this at Wyoming also BTW.
Elway carried mediocre Bronco teams until a great Bronco team carried him. Allen has been carried by a very good team around him. The Bills with good QB play are in the hunt for the Lombardi last year.
