This is nice for a change. After years of being eliminated before Halloween finally we have an exciting year end. We are still alive and if we win both our remaining games we will make it to the playoffs at 98% probability. For that I am happy and thankful.
Absolutely. Last time we played relevant games in December was 2015. Usually we spend December talking about draft position. Jets just need to take care of business and they are most likely in!
Ironically, if we'd had the December we just had, while in the middle of a playoff race, two years ago, we'd have Trevor Lawrence as our QB right now.
Actually if we lost those games, Joe Douglas would have had his pick of Lawrence, Zack, Tray, Justin, etc. Some voices were calling ZW the best QB in the class, and there a chance, even with those losses, Joe Douglas takes ZW #1 overall anyways. Moral of the story is win every game we can win!
Ya 2015 was a bummer. We had the Beard, Fitzmagic and already won 10 games. Needed 11 for the POs, and off to Buffalo we went to get that last win (yup, I was there). FN Revis was playing 15 yards off the entire game and we lost. Revis says he had a sprained wrist so couldn't jamb at the LOS. SO MANY 1st downs right in front of him, all day long. GRRRRRRRR
JD is a trade beast. If he liked ZW better, he would have taken the Jags 2022 1st to let them trade up and we’d at least have gotten Iky. Moral of the story is not every game is created equal
Yes ..this year was a surprise You can thank some great defensive play because looking back once Bryce Hall went down the Offense only showed flashes It was the Season that exposed Zac as a potential bust...but maybe we go bust to boom with MW What a roller coaster!
He would be taken away in January by Belichick anyway, who would give us the game and wouldn't allow this. Forget about Trevor already. Yeah it looked good for a while, but weren't getting him either way. Let's have a good start to the New Year by finally winning a meaningful game late in the season!
I've enjoyed the season more than usual, though not as much as I could have considering all the QB drama. If we get in the playoffs it will be exciting, and if we lose I'll be okay because we wont deserve it anyway. TBH, even with 17 games we still wont win as many as 2015. Yet it kinda feels like were heading for the same ending as 2015.
