You have all read the "we will not make the playoffs" threads -- but -- its just impossible to know. Ill just look at one week. This coming week. 1. Jax at Tenn. Tenn may be the hottest team in the league. They think they can beat anyone. Jax has lost twice to HOU. Tenn wins. Jax 8-6. 2. Denver is in free fall. AZ has found its legs and a running game. AZ wins. Den 7-7. (So even if they win, Denver 8-6). 3. KC plays the best team on the road. KC 7-7. (So even if they win, KC 8-6). 4. Can Indy be this bad? They right the ship at home Indy wins. Cincy 8-6 All of a sudden -- things are not so bleak anymore. (Of course, I have assumed a Jet win against Minn. Certainly doable. Jets have played well off losses.)
Exactly my point. Season is far from over. I expect the Jets to bounce back big time this week. Minn is the weakest team left on the schedule (yes, weaker than Oak, I said it). Beat Minn, the lets hope for a nice Xmas gift on Dec 25.
Personally, the playoffs are not the make or break for me. My disappointment in yesterday's loss is not how it hurt our playoffs chances. It's just upsetting to see the team come out lay an egg against a divisional opponent so late in the season. Just when you think they're making progress they take a couple steps backwards. Even if they only win one more game this year, I'd just like to see them show up and play hard over the next 3 games. That's all I ask.
I feel like I’m in a jets version of water boy. "We suck again" What is the one piece of this puzzle that keeps us from going anywhere? I can’t figure it out! We play extremely well and then seem to loose all control over games. The tea leaves tell me "Typical Jets shit". We cant just live up to expectations we have to back into every thing we do and build drama for the Miami game. Hey Im ready. Always have been always will be.
Blow me Dusch bag, I can vent anything I want. IV lived through this for many many years and have earned the right to be pissed. How many times have we been in this position? No place have I said I?m done with this team or blame this one or that one. But it's is the same old story and I am relating to past experience with my team in this very same position over and over again. The thread states it?s impossible to read the tea leaves and I am saying no it isn?t. IV seen it before and will probably see it again in my life time. If you?re tired of the bitchin and wining then YOU go and find another place to voice your opinion or jump on someone who voices theirs
yes you have the right to vent anything you want. vent away. but newsflash-- nobody cares that your sad. nobody cares that your apparently pshycic and you know for a fact that the jets wont make the playoffs because its happened before.... keep venting away if u want, doesnt make much sense though.
Never said they wouldnt make the playoff's . I said they always have to create drama ,its never the easy way . Take the time to read it before you assmume what im trying to say. Implied or otherwise!
sorry, the impossible part just sounds like your saying we cant make the playoffs, and it still does. but yeah the jets tend to tease, i guess ive gotten used to it.
