Why do the Jets waste money on scouting? All of that film review, player interviews, backround checks, private workouts, etc. They should just read our board. We buy a magazine and know so much more than them. In fact, some people on this board have access to the complete player rankings of all 32 teams. For example, they knew for sure nobody would take a Clemens or a Schlegel when we did. We could have "easily" gotten them on Day 2. I'm simply amazed by the brilliance on this board.

Is this scouting thing new? did the Jets not used to have one? how about the Texans? the Saints? I gotta believe they didn't because then how could they all have sucked so bad last year.

So every pick by every team is a good pick because they have scouting departments?

I agree, there are some brilliant NFL minds on this board that have predicted our 3rd rounders will suck for sure, without ever seeing them play one snap. If I was those 2 picks, I would not even bother showing up to mini-camp, they'll be cut soon after anyway...:breakdance: :breakdance:
