Well, the 1st thread sucked. Keep rape discussions out of this. If you want to talk about the game, fine. All that other BS needs to stay out

As long as we don't let Mike Wallace burn us at some point I don't see their offense doing anything

This should be a battle of who scores just enough to get into double digits. I don't like our chances as of late.......Maybe Santonio will be fired up to catch a wide open one in the endzone....(j/k)

I expect us to wake-the-f#@k-up and play a strong game.
We need to be able to run just enough to keep Harrison and Woodley from killing Sanchez. Hopefully we can make a play or two on Special Teams.
I think it could come down to a field goal ... and that worries me.

Why? Why after two divisional games (one for homefield advantage throughout the playoffs) would we suddenly "wake-the-f#@k-up"? I don't see it happening...

this is the under of a lifetime, if we cant protect sanchez, its over fast, if we can, we have a good shot. Ben is really tough to bring down and it seems that our safeties are the only ones who get pressure and without most of them we will have trouble bringing him down i believe. hate to say it but i think we are held to 6 points once again. 13-6 steelers. fuck.

Why? ...Because there's too much talent on this team to play that bad for long. Everyone goes into slumps. It doesn't mean you forgot how to play.
To me those last two games are the abberation ... not the norm. .. and the Defense played their asses off last week anyway.
I still believe in the players. I still believe in the coaches.
Its just men against men. No reason why we can't make plays agaisnt them.
I don't expect to go there and lay down.

after watching the past couple games, what on this earth makes you think they will suddenly wake up and play??? Please elaborate... cus frankly, I just don't see it.

What I have seen, is a seasons worth of lip service come back to bite the team in the ass.

I'm not saying we'll win or lose. I'm saying I think we'll play a strong game. I'm wondering why you don't.

I didn't realize that our season gets defined by two bad games. Can Holmes still play this game? Can Brick play? What about Revis? Harris?? Mangold?? The point is, we have plenty of very good players on this roster, and when we DON'T play well, that's when you should be surprised ... not the other way around.

If we slow down Mendenhall and put Revis on Ward (and I think we will) we'll be in this game until the end.

You honestly think the problems your seeing have manifested themselves in just the past 2 weeks??? Having good players doesn't make your team a contender... you need to be well coached, something we are not... you need to be disciplined, something we are not... you need to be able to put teams away, something we can not do...

So again, do you really think all the problems are just 2 bad games?? If so, all I can say is wow...

I thought 12-4 was a certainty before the Patriots game and now I'm ready to write this off as a loss. Fucking sad.

It's funny because "based on the way we played" only applies when you're bad.

It's like having a slump (of 2 whole games) means we can never play well again even though we have during the season.

Meh... TE Miller is coming back and Ward is good going through the middle... let's hope our D really shows up.

I don't think anyone is really concerned with the defense... I think the main concern stems from our offense's inability to score TDs vs good defenses... so based on that, what makes you think we'll put up any points?

it doesn't, but if you believe we played well until the past 2 games, you're missing something...

We've played well enough to win. our offense was much better for the most part, at least from the 2nd quarter or 3rd quarter on.

If the Jets beat the Steelers and the Pats beat GB, the Pats clinch home field for the playoffs I believe...
