Injury dept. : Revis and Pace ~~~

Looks like Pace MAY play this week, but Revis still looks doubtful.

    Cimini on Pace:

    Cimini on Revis:

Makes sense. I don't see how the Jets would want Revis to risk further injury when we have the Vikings and Packers coming up before the Bye.

I see no reason to play Revis in this game. Cro can handle the #1 duties against these chumps. I wouldn't even play Pace. Let him rest another week.

I would hope if they do come back this week, they are very limited in their time on the field. We should be able to win this without Pace or Revis.

Yeah, I say rest them until the Vikings game. We'll definitely need them then.

With no big play WR over the next two weeks, Revis should sit for those ganes.

Hopefully they will make Revis inactive and dress Pace, but keep him on the sidelines unless needed. It would be nice to give Pace another week off if possible. I'd almost rather lose to the Bills than have Revis' hammy acting up all year. We can't play defense like we did against the Phins and win a lot of games. The Jets need Revis in there at 100%, even if that means sitting him against the Vikings too. Hopefully it won't linger that long.

I would rather just beat them down without Revis and laugh at the rest of the AFCE after we beat them all without our best player.

I highly doubt they'd let him sit against the Vikings.

Harvin can cause enough problems. We need Revis out there.

    Just for the secondaries sake.

I am all about letting Pace if he is good to go. He has no chance of re-injuring the bone he broke so if he says he can play let him play. He could use some game action before we actually need him to do something.

Revis should sit for the Buffalo game and other than to get Pace ready to play in the Vikes game, I see no reason to play him even one down.

    Sit them both.

Jets win without them Sunday and they're both in fresh for the "big showdown" with the 1-2 Vikings.

I don't think we should risk either of them.

Is it just me that is getting worried about this "easy-to-win game" talk. We usually fuck up at least once.

play pace like 40% of the snaps on D. let him get back to game speed. i would not under any circumstances play revis this week tho. let him be 100% for the vikings game

Yeah, if we can't beat the Bills without Revis then we have way more problems than we thought.

the only reason to rush pace back is to give JT a break at OLB. he's old and banged up and playing way more then he should be, but still performing well as fas as revis goes, let him sit. then game 5 revis, pace, and holmes all come back. If sanchez keeps playing the way he is were gonna be unstoppable

For this reason, I'd say dress Pace but leave him on the sidelines in case of an injury to one of the other LBs......essentially the emergency LB. There is no reason to even think about dressing Revis.

It's an important divisional game. It's not easy to win on the road and you can't be overlooking anyone in this league. We never sweep Buffalo so if these guys are healthy and ready to play get them in there. If they get a lead then you can sit them or rotate them.

Maybe people shouldn't be looking past the same Bills who stayed in the game against New England this week.

If both are healthy enough to play they should both play.
