my dad is dead i wish he was alive to beat me. and my choice in beer is none of your dam business. do you dudes feel better now? count me out of your bullshit games here ni. thanks
I know I do...and you're welcome. I'd feel even better if the Jets signed Simeon Rice to a minimum salary contract and get about 5-8 sacks from him as a situational pass rusher.
I'm a little hesitant on Rice....not sure how well he do in coverage playing OLB and I don't think Rice is big enough to play 3-4 DE at 268lbs (Shaun Ellis is 285lbs). yeah...the porcelain Gods.

Would have worked except people are already sick of the Sanchez Is A Mexican stuff. But on this theme, its a shame the Jets didn't get a player named Shirley back when they had Coles.
when i read the op i put the over under on someone saying something about gholston at 3 posts. if i had been betting against my own odds i would have lost.:breakdance:
its ok i'm sure he really hopes he is wrong about gholston. sets him up nicely to say that he knew all along that the kid was a bust. if gholston has a great year then he can just act really happy about it and brush off all the bust talk. i assume this is the main reason we get so much so and so is a bust talk all the time.
Why not contact him? He's veteran who has a lot of knowledge on how to play defensive end. Look at the Patriots with all the old veterans they've been through who have contributed. I'm not saying he'll contribute or even make the team, but to bring him in to pass on some knowledge to "slowston" or any of our other young players could be beneficial. I'll say this as well. I trust Ryan on the defensive side of the ball. I'm pretty sure he knows what he is doing, so if he brings him in, he has a plan in place in what he wants from Rice. I definitely don't see any problem with this at all.
