First we've seen an official connection. Id prefer mallett over Hoyer for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is ludicrous. People bitch about Geno but scoff at every single plausible replacement. "Mariota isn't a sure thing, don't draft him!" "Everyone in this free agent class sucks!". Outside of trading for Aaron Rodgers there's no way we're going to have a sure, proven commodity at QB this year. I'm fine with mallett or Hoyer.
Dude I can't endorse this post enough. It's laughable sometimes. The same people crushing geno are the people shooting down every other qb name mentioned. I'd love to trade for Rodgers. I'd give up firsts for the next 4 years. But it isn't happening. Given what's available there are guys with upside such as mallett available. For the record I hate geno so far but in truth he does have a solid chance to get it together in Chans system Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just read that mallett and the Texans both really want a reunion. Let's see if a little dough can change that.
W B marsh we are much more desirable than before. Plus maybe a stick it to the pats incentive will help. Personally if we sign mallett I'll be very happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rogers sucks, don't do it. lol I'm all for bringing in one of the younger QBs or a more established vet, but I would really like to give Geno Smith two seasons under new management. And in the mean time draft Andrew Luck Light in whatever round he appears in to groom and run the scout team. (Mariota is NOT an andy lite).
Tell me about it. Someone already brought up his age too. Throw in his injury history? Forget about it. I want no part of him.
