Nfl Network: "Deal is in place, that if the players that the Jets want are there at 8, the Jags will trade out."
Ugg. Not again. I went through enough pain with the 1st round last year. If the Jets trade up to 8, they HAVE TO be right about the player they draft. Cannot draft a pansy in the 1st round again.
For a guy like Crabtree, Curry, or Andre Smith this could be a great move for the Jets. If they move up to 8 for a QB the next couple years could get ugly.
And they are saying this deal is for Crabtree/Harvin.I do not like this.i hope Crabtree is gone by 8 and Harvin may be there at 17 , so no need to go out and get him.Even if Harvin is there I do not want him.
There is no link.It was said on ESPn or NFL NETWORK.i think it was ESPN.Those ae the only two channels I am watching right now.
Hate to lose the picks it would take to trade up. In fact, I'd much rather trade down and grab an extra pick in the process
Maclin- punt returner in 2009, anything more than that is a plus; Maclin seems to be a good guy; he talks intelligently and seems to have real desire to be successful Crabtree- extremely turned off by this guy's intelligence and attitude; if he's good he's going to be a pain in the ass like T.O., Ocho Cinco, and Keyshawn Johnson; now, if he's not one of those guys he'll just be a washout
+1. The Jets do not need to trade up again. It hasn't worked particularly well for them in the past even when they got a star out of the deal. The Jets are now 13-19 since trading up for Darrelle Revis.
