I was interested to see how this would poll, because it seems like a pretty split decision to me. With the recent news that Nike is taking over in 2012 and is planning some significant changes, I was wondering what the feeling was on this board towards a logo change.
Well actually the one I like the most is the vintage logo that says "Jets" inside of a jet. However, that would only work for vintage/throwback games. I dunno. I think the logo is fine now, but they're all pretty cool in my opinion.
I want to see the logo go back to how it was in the late 60's, early 70's....the oval was football shaped (thinner than it is now), not watermelon shaped like it is these days.
I like beer and I like the logo the way it is now. Maybe a throw back to the 80s/90s once in a while would be cool.
Since we changed to our throwback unis in 98? we've had relative success just about every other year. Not saying the unis have anything to do with it, but I like them, and its not like weve been horrible while wearing them.
I would love if they went back to the 80s ones, but with the shade of green that is on the uniforms now. I think that would look dope.
Holy crap, there is a long thread on this subject, and people still think those pics are legit. Nike is not going to force teams to change their logo. Nor can they.
