Jets need Shotty

    I'm talking about Marty. With the talent on this team, he'd turn them into perrennial 11+ game winners.

    He doesn't bitch about the GM, just coaches the team he's given.

    His teams always give the Pats fits! Always has.

    Only negative is his post-season record.... but you gotta get there to worry about that.

    He also doesn't win in the off-season.

    Plus he brings Marty-ball

    Plus Brian is back at the OC helm.

    Plus he might pick his other son to be DC.

    We would be the NEW YORK SCHOTTENHEIMERS

    PASS.

    He's a good football guy--no doubt. You got to keep him in mind but I have him down the list a ways.

    There are worse candidates than Schotty. I'd give him a chance.

    Agreed. I wouldn't hate bringing in Schotty. Guy wins a lot of games. He fails in the postseason, but that's kind of fluky.

    If he could finally win in the post season in NY, then we'd be the "feel good story of '09. Screw the Fish.
