Okay this is getting ridiculous. I don't care about the NY Titans, and I don't think the majority of Jets fans do either. Let it DIE already!
On the flipside, at least one of those games is going to be on the road, unveiling the away version of the Titans jersey.
I think the NFL is encouraging all of the original AFL teams to wear throwback jerseys this season to honor the 50th anniversary of the AFL. I don't support it, myself - personally I think the Jets should always wear green. But maybe after this 50th anniversary season is finished, we could finally stop wearing those Titans throwbacks.
BOYCOTT TITANS GEAR. The only reason they keep doing this is because people keep buying it. Stop buying it.
I think we are 3-1 all time. We wear them twice on the road (Oakland ans Miami), once at home. At home it's against the Titans and they are wearing Oilers uni's. I don't mind the change of pace once or twice a year, this year is the anny of the AFL so all the original teams are wearing throwbacks a few games.
This is really getting to be a freaking joke. How many other teams where throwback uniforms 2 or 3 times every season. We were the Titans for what, 3 years.
I went to the Bengals-Titans game last year. Seemed like 5% of the crowd had Titans gear on. Mostly Jets.
I really don't believe the jerseys help us win football games. I would prefer they parade the "throwbacks" out once every few years. More than that is overkill and is obvious that it is being done for marketing purposes only.
the away record better be as good as the home if this is going to continue, its nice to pay homage to the past, but its one thing to over do it. How about wearing the old 68 uniforms for a game?
