westhoff can make any KR look good. Anybody else notic how all of those guys have gone elsewhere as KR specialists and not done diddly, much less scored? Carter was out of the NFL after that year if my memory serves, Miller went to Oakland, then back here then as far as I know is still on the FA market. Morton went to the Skins and lived out the rest of his days there. Moss doesnt really return punts any more. Cotch and Smith are still here, and Leon just left, we will see if he can buck the trend... looking forward to Mcknight taking 2+ back next season!
Cromartie can be our missed field goal returner:
kick returner? hopefully we'll hardly need one! http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=56259
Special Teams is shaping up to look very nice this season. ALOT better then last year's which is a great upgrade and very much needed.
cotch theres A reason not to have cotchery as a returner.. he is the #1 wideout! yeah I know, he does nothing but catch EVERYTHING thrown to him( in bound foot drags added bonus) YAC good also. underrated stellar possetion WR, no special teams for him...
I'm pretty excited to see Wilson returning punts. I think it will be hard to win out the job from Brad Smith in the beginning for kick returner, but we'll see the progression of McKnight
KW Punt Return We posted a video of him on youtube returning punts. A few more posts from me and I will be able to post a lot of things here. Anyone w/ access to post links please do. Thx Vince
I agree for the most part but last year w/ or w/o leon our KR game was not good outside of the one great return by Brad Smith.
Wilson has never been a kick returner. He was one of the greatest punt returners in NCAA last season. Why would we set up a starter and defensive captain for injury instead of putting a rookie back there who could actually be better at the position?
