Posted a discussion of all the visits the NYJs are lining up for draft prospects between now and the draft.

    Interesting.

I'm glad they're taking a good look at Bell in the later rounds. I haven't heard really anything about this kid McMackin, but so far what i'm reading sounds pretty good. I also like how the FO is looking at the other CB position as a weakness and bringing this Draft's top ranked CB.

Overall, I think I trust this FO and their Draft decision making abilities in digging out good players to fill positions of need and much needed depth.

  3. I really like bell in our scheme. Alot of scouts like him too...TSN has him as the highest rated ILB in the entire draft.

Bell may the best 2nd day pick of this draft, and we will be in prime position to get him with our early 4th pick. But i feel his stock is rising, so the Jets might trade up to get him. He's a hard hitter and will kill as an ILB. Same scouting report as harris coming out of college. I'll take him or lofton to fill the ILB spot.

I don't care for Bell too much. Supposedly he has a slight learning disability and has problems staying motivated. I can't see Mangini liking that too much. I believe I read that on nfl.com's draft prospect analysis. With one of our 4th rounders I guess I wouldn't complain though.

I like the idea of trading down to the 8th or 9th spot of the draft does goes that way they have it, Bell seems like a real interesting prospect too. I think I would agree with any decision that Tangini make on draft day... they've done their homework nicely
