Didn't see it posted so what the heck. Not really big news as there are no other rookie centers starting as far as I know. Cool picture of him though... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/mu...11/gallery.nfl.all.rookie.team/content.4.html
It's amazing how he could put reggie Bush on that lost ahead of Maroney and leon. reggie's 2.6 YPC must really be impressing him, either that or his impressive 6.8 yds per rec and zero TDs on offense.
Peter King is so biased, he has the guys that he blows constantly, Bush is one of them. It's amazing that he doesn't even mention brick, I know he's not dominating but for a first year LT he's been very good.
It really is ridiculous that Brick gets no mention. He has been just as good as McNeill and much better than O'Callahan. The only thing I can think of is that King didnt want to put 2 Jets on the O-line...but than again...he has 3 Patriots on the entire team
No disrespect to Marcus McNeil, but it it's not like D'Brick hasn't protected Chad's blindside, he's surrendered 1 sack and Chad is still healthy...
The only logic that I could accept is that McNeil is exceeding expectations while Brick is meeting them...but then basically we are penalizing Brick for being consistently good
I think that King didn't wanna put 2 Jets on the O-line. But like I said previously...he managed to put 3 pats on the team, when aside from Marroney, no one really stands out from their rookie class. So why not put both Brick and Mangold?
Whether or not D'Brickashaw deserves to be on the team, there's no doubt that Mangold has earned his spot. He took on a leadership role on the O-line as a rookie--something deserves to be said for that.
46 receptions is nice though, but I totally agree with you. Maroney is a beast, DeAngelo was nice b4 he got hurt & Neon Leon is the future.
also lets not forget, King from Boston thinks Belly is God, Brady walks on water and the Jets are swill, so for him to put a jet on there says alot about Mangold...
