McMichael on the block...

We probably have no shot at him, plus there probably gonna lose Wes Welker in division. That just furthur diminishes the small percent we had

 

He has a lot of talent but he drops an azz load of passes. I mean he has the worst hands I have ever seen, no way I would want this guy on the Jets. The only time he is a tough guy is when his wife talks back to him, if you know what I mean.

Seriously he is terrible, we jet fans would hate this guy after one game trust me on this. Well I already hate him.............

I really don't think we need a new TE. I am really happy w/ Baker and Ryan.

 

Another player that would not really be any kind of real improvement over what we already have at this time. Overrated and not much upside.

 

I completely disagree. It would be very nice to have a feature tight end, rather than Chris Baker, who has his moments but is never a true threat, and Sean Ryan who happens to be a solid backup. I would really like to see some new formations next year, starting with the Split-Back Pro-Form, with Leon and __________ in the backfield, and also some double tight-end sets with Chris Baker on the left, and hopefully Randy McMichael on the right. Sean Ryan is too good of a backup and provides too much depth to let him go, so he could service as the third TE, and also spend some time at fullback.

 

Did he even play this past year?? Now before there are a million post saying yes he did play, I know that, you just wouldn't know by his production. No way the Dolphins get a first day pick for him.

 

Last year McMichael has 62 catches, 640 yards, 3tds. baker had 31 catches, 300 yards and 4tds.

You could look at this 2 ways to make a argument for your case.

McMichael had nearly "double" the production of our best TE in 06.

or

McMichael had 300 yards more offense and one less td.

In McMichaels favor... his team/QB/offense sucked for the last 2-3 years. He may be better than his stats show. Against him ... he plays for the dolphins and beats his wife.

 

I'll pass.... Perfectly fine with Baker.

 

Everyone who has ever used that idiotic term "Tangini Guy," and, who still entertains the notion of acquiring Randy McMichael, needs to take a step back.

This is a guy who belted around his pregnant wife. This is a guy who pleaded guilty to bashing in her face and bloodying her nose in an incident a year later, where witnesses saw him throw her out of their moving car.

Randy McMichael doesn't play for any team I root for. Ever.
