7:35 PM D: John Maine vs. Tim Hudson
3:55 PM D: Mike Pelfrey? vs. Chuck James
1:05 PM D: Tom Glavine vs. John Smoltz

obviously the Braves have the advantage in every matchup and have had our number, but here's where we turn it around.

Why Pelfrey? Humber deserves a shot.

It ain't that serious. All ya'll need is one game to keep a comfortable lead. Which sucks.

On Metsblog they said when Pelfrey comes up, he will be in the bullpen. It's Pedro time!

well, yes. As I posted in the other thread, the Braves re-arranged their rotation so Smoltz would pitch against the Mets, and on full rest. He was pitched earlier this week on 3 days rest so he could pitch sunday on full rest.

Pelfrey in the pen is a decent idea. He can't be worse then some of the guys they have out there.

This thread could potentially be very depressing

so much for endy not being a starter, he's in the lineup once again while l-millz rides the pine. i mean, i like endy but we've all seen him get exposed when he's playing every day. i also love how green had to suck for a couple months straight before willie started sitting him, but milledge has a few bad games and he's relegated to the bench.

Willie has gotten exposed this year in my eyes much in the same way Herm did his last year. I'm not one to usually complain about the manager, that is how bad of a job he has done this year..

I know some of you gave up on the Mets, so you will be looking for something else to watch tonight. If you try the Washington-Syracuse game on ESPN, don't adjust your sets. Syracuse really is wearing hideous orange all over.
