    The Giants are currently 18-15.
Randy Johnson is going for career win 298 on Saturday.
Jonathan Niese will likely be optioned to Buffalo for Nelson Figueroa.
When it comes to that spot in the rotation, Tim Redding will most likely start.
No word on how he gets called up, but I'd expect Takahashi to go.

Really upset I'll be missing all the games of this series, Giants are a classy franchise with an incredible history and a great park. No chance in hell RJ get's his 298 against us, we pwn that bitch and Johan will dominate. Big Pelf against Cain on the national stage is the best matchup of the weekend IMO.

    Lets Go Mets.

Putz is out at least two days with elbow issues and Delgado is still iffy with a tear in his hip.

Sheffield singles in a run, but Maine is awful in the bottom of the 1st but manages to only give up 2 runs.

Sheffield involved again as the Mets go up 3-2. He's 6 for 12 in his last three starts.

Manuel amazingly pushes Maine into the 7th inning and 118 pitches. Maybe he realizes that a 6 inning pitcher isn't very valuable.

    Big out coming.

And Parnell completes the blowing of the save thanks to Cora not being a very good fielder.
