With the Phils going into Atlanta, time to root for the Braves to bounce back by winning two out of three.

The Mets and Phillies each have 26 games to play. If the Mets play .500 the rest of the way, the Phillies would need to finish 17-9 (.654) to finish in a first-place tie.

Did you notice that Wagner's fastball picked up about 3-4 mph half way thru yesterday's ninth inning? It turns out that LoDuca noticed that he was not pushing off his legs and came out and told Wagner.

someone posted what the phillies had to do if the mets did .500 when the lead was 7.. well that didnt matter because we got swept.

if there is games left against each other, these records dont mean much because a sweep either way changes everything

no, a sweep can just contribute to the Mets playing .500 ball, which would then require the Phils to go said 17-9 making the projections very accurate and meaningful.

Wright continues to be en fuego.

Would really like to see the Mets jump on the Reds right here.

Fact of the Day- Josh Hamilton has no relation to former GT QB Joe Hamilton.

Well, that's hardly a good start. It would have been nice if Alou knew how to catch the ball.
