Heres what Id like... 4-LB Stanley McGlover 4-OT Ryan O'Callaghan 5-WR Hank Baskett 7-FB Matt Bernstein I wouldve liked Bing over Eric freakin Smith but I doubt we go with 2 safeties
Don't know much about the first two but would switch HANK BASKETT with AVANT from Michigan and BERNSTIEN with Q. HILL from Miami.
I'm still trying to figure out the Smith pick...I understand it was a comp pick, pretty much a free-bee...But damn. I would of liked a RB or NT
After these last 2 picks I've abandoned trying to figure out who on earth we are going to take. I'm just going to stop trying to figure it out and enjoy the rest of the draft.....
Ryan O'Callaghan really needs to be selected. We really have NOBODY at right tackle, and this guy could complete our line and really make it a true force (even though its looking pretty damn good now)
Gilles, Callaghan, a true NT and a WR might be a good way to finish the draft then. I dunno who Callaghan is though.
Adrian Jones is a LEGIT right tackle. He's 25 years old and built to be an RT, not an LT. He only played LT last year b/c Fabini sucked and couldn't handle it. He'll be much better next year in his natural position.
I'm still trying to figure the advantage gained by trading our 35th for next years second and a 6th, I think it was dumb...
C'mon we got a second round pick for next year. Thats the advantage. But the Schlegle and Smith picks are perplexing. Give me O'Callghan in the fourth.
you do know that we got Wash's 2nd rnder in this draft too right? where we took Clemens. that was a brilliant move, they were going to take Clemens anyway, and that 2nd rnder will be sweet next year.
They targeted Clemens in the 2nd. traded down got a 6th and 2nd ext year and still got the guy they coveted by jumping in front of minnesota to land him. it was a good move who can argue with gaining a next year second and still getting the guy you targeted.
Ditto. Why even try, they aren't going to take anyone we think they will anyway, they obviously have priorities far different than what we believe.
