Really???? One play and that's it? That clinches it for your? Well, actually you had already made your mind up, so really it didn't even take one play. Unbelievable!

its not like he was pinpoint accurate to that point. petty had nothing sunday. that play was the last straw and took the rest of the fight out of the team. what transpired before half time was a crime. running out the 4th quarter was discretion over valor

When he came in for McCown the first time he looked good, had a really nice pass nullified by the holding penalty.

Honestly, I really really want to know what Bowles & Co, have against him. I've seen way worse QBs who start. I mean did Bowles find a KKK uniform in his locker or something?

he grossly missed anderson on a slant, asj on an out both would have been big gainers. yea he uncorked 1 good pass but overall he was not sharp and the misses were way off. thats the kind of stuff that get receivers killed. on top of that the line was horrific. bowles might have shown how much he loves petty getting him out of there in one piece

Given his lack of reps with those guys, it's understandable he would be off on his timing with them, and as you pointed out the OL was horrible - or maybe the Broncos rush was just that good, probably a combination of both, but that would give most QBs "happy feet", especially again if you're not used to playing at that speed. Hopefully he'll be more prepared this week.

Yeah and I mean none of those young QBs have even cracked top 20 in the league. We haven’t even been “average” at the position short of hiring mercenaries like Favre, Fitz, and McCown.

You’ve just described Mo’s situation. I mean yeah the guy makes more money than all of us combined and that should be enough to motivate him, but since Rex left he looks like he doesn’t even want to play anymore. The fact that he’s not suiting up against New Orleans indicates that he’s 100% gone in March. He will likely be signed for a lot less money somewhere else and essentially blew his chance to earn 1 more huge contract.

Yeah looks like he does not want to be there. Despite all the money.
