Nice to see some respect going our way, but I take all these prediction articles with a grain of salt. Just more hype for the upcoming season. Not really necessary I cant F'n wait for next week. I hate having the late game to start the season.

I could definitely see this being the year Revis wins DPOY, barring injury.

Wow Mike Lombardi is a moron...

He's got the Redskins winning the NFC east and the Titans winning the AFC south.

I mean anything is possible but why would anybody be led to believe that those teams would win their respective divisions?

    COME ON MAN.

Also, the Patriots are way too respected by the media, theyre always good but man its going to take them going like 3-13 for people to get off their nuts

Unfortunately I don't see Revis ever winning the award given the sheer idiocy of stat-first voters. He had the award stolen from him in 2009 after putting up the best season by a CB in NFL history. If that doesn't tell you anything, I don't know what does.

This award is often wrongly given as lifetime achievement awards as opposed to the individual season in question.

At the time Revis was nowhere near the popularity or hype he is at now, which will influence voters.

While he was robbed in 2009, he still was awarded 2nd place....so that proves that the voters don't shy away from acknowledging him.

I certainly hope you're right. The guy is pretty much a god at his position when he's healthy and absolutely deserves that award.

Commissioner Goodell is seriously considering not playing the upcoming season and just conceding the championship to Gronkowski.

A half decent season from Aso will see the usual talking heads in the press wanking themselves silly over him now he's at a team with some profile. Although I agree with you on the lifetime achievement thing, I like Polamalu a lot as both a player and a person but it was a travesty that Clay Matthews didn't get it last year.

  16. I put as little into high expectations as I do to the haters who bash the Jets.

Mike Lombardi is out there, last off season he kept beating the drum for the dolphins as a super bowl team.

Ya'll need to chill out with the Gronkowski thing ... there is no way that the Patriots win the Superbowl and hoist the Gronkowski Trophy.

Everybody knows that's the only way to correctly judge how good a CB is.
