Ha, I like doing that at the end of round 3 start of round 4 and you get loads of players still rated as 2nd rounders and a pretty much guaranteed A+ selection :)

Not so happy you have removed me from the top 20 already though :(

The people who run this game still don't get it. They have the Jets' top needs as DE, RB and WR and completely ignore LT, OLB and C. I decided to play anyway, but don't go in for all the trades, so it will at least resemble reality, but then the way players are rated screw that up. Fant falling to round 2? I traded down once so I could add a 2nd round pick and still take Little.

I would be very happy with this draft

Your score is: 26714 (GRADE: B+)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 8 (BUF): Little, Greg, OT, Mississippi (B+)
Round 2 Pick 8 (BUF): Fant, Noah, TE, Iowa (A)
Round 3 Pick 3: Metcalf, DK, WR, Mississippi (A+)
Round 3 Pick 29: Winovich, Chase, DE, Michigan (A+)
Round 4 Pick 3: Jenkins, Elgton, C, Mississippi State (A)
Round 5 Pick 3: Anderson, Rodney, RB, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 7 Pick 2: Boyd, Kris, CB, Texas (A+)
Round 7 Pick 3: Gray, Derwin, OT, Maryland (A+)

    Your Future Picks:
    2019 Round 1 Pick
    2020 Round 1 Pick

In this draft, I didn't get any decent trade options so stayed put. I didn't get an OT in this one, but think I addressed several needs and got some very good prospects.

Your score is: 28171 (GRADE: A-)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 3: Bosa, Nick, DE, Ohio State (A)
Round 3 Pick 3: Montgomery, David, RB, Iowa State (A+)
Round 3 Pick 29: Gilbert, Mark, CB, Duke (A+)
Round 4 Pick 3: Morgan Jr, Stanley, WR, Nebraska (A+)
Round 5 Pick 3: Jenkins, Elgton, C, Mississippi State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 2: Powers, Ben, OG, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 7 Pick 3: Williams, Preston, WR, Colorado State (A+)

    2019 Round 1 Pick

    Round 3 Pick 29: Jelks, Jalen, DE/OLB, Oregon (A+)
Round 4 Pick 3: Gilbert, Mark, CB, Duke (A+)
Round 5 Pick 3: Samia, Dru, OG, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 7 Pick 2: Patrick, Jacques, RB, Florida State (A+)

    It wasn't me.

I ended up just outside of the top 20 so you must have been bumped before my draft.

I decided to do several trade downs in this draft just to see who might be available if the Jets traded down several times. First, I traded down with Oakland, giving us two first round picks and a 2nd round pick. Next I traded down with Indianapolis in the 4th round to give to give us an additional 5th round pick and a 6th round pick. As I suspected, doing so resulted in the top LTs and edge rushers being all gone. While this draft would dramatically overhaul the team offensively, I don't think it would happen in reality as imo Noah Fant won't fall to the 28th pick of the 1st round, David Montgomery won't fall to the 28th pick of the 2nd round, and Elgton Jenkins won't fall to the 4th round and I doubt that Mac (or whomever the Jets' GM will be) would trade down that many times. Still, adding the best TE and one of the top 2-3 WRs, plus one of the best RB prospects, the best C prospect and an LT prospect who last year was considered one of the top LT prospects before suffering an ACL injury. In addition, added depth at OG and OT and a couple of additional WR targets for Sam. The only decent (?) edge rusher (Jalen Jelks) I had a shot at drafting was in the 4th round, but opted for Elgton Jenkins instead.

Your score is: 28206 (GRADE: A-)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 22 (OAK): Harry, NKeal, WR, Arizona State (A-)
Round 1 Pick 28 (LAC): Fant, Noah, TE, Iowa (B+)
Round 2 Pick 2 (OAK): Adams, Trey, OT, Washington (B+)
Round 2 Pick 28 (LAC): Montgomery, David, RB, Iowa State (A)
Round 3 Pick 3: Taylor, Levonta, CB, Florida State (A+)
Round 3 Pick 29: Morgan Jr, Stanley, WR, Nebraska (A)
Round 4 Pick 15 (IND): Jenkins, Elgton, C, Mississippi State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 3: Brumfield, Garrett, OG, LSU (A+)
Round 5 Pick 15 (IND): Lamar, Tre, ILB, Clemson (A+)
Round 6 Pick 15 (IND): Gray, Derwin, OT, Maryland (A+)
Round 7 Pick 2: Williams, Preston, WR, Colorado State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 3: Hester, Kiy, CB, Rutgers (A+)

    2019 Round 1 Pick
    2020 Round 1 Pick

I am currently #9 on the Jets board and #44 on the overall board, though....but I drafted Defense heavy that time, and I didn't care for it as a real draft.

Seems likely Jets will have 6 2nd rd picks and 5 3rd rd picks. Even Idzick could rebuild the Jets that way.

All it takes is getting about 8 teams who are willing to trade up just a couple of positions at high cost. Easy peazy. :p

Looks like we have two threads ongoing with the same topic. Maybe we could merge the two threads?
