I'm kind of wondering about California's run of terrible luck on the fires the last decade. I'm sure they've looked at the patterns and where the starts have been. I know they have identified some starts that were clearly lightning strikes near power stations. I know they've also identified some starts that were human error with campfires. However I think there are a bunch of fires they haven't managed to do this for.
