As of today, the end of week 3, here are hilarious statistics about this team: - Ranked 2nd overall Defense - Ranked 1st overall against Rushing. - Ranked 8th overall Offense. - Ranked 2nd overall Rushing. - Average 376 yards per game. - Average 2 TD per game. Yet here we are, 1-2 Lmao!!!
How about the turnover differential? 2nd to dead fucking last. Now THAT'S the funny part. Negative fucking 4.
I'm surprised we have the 8th overall offense. They can move the ball between the 20's. But they can't score in the red zone.
It's not all that surprising in my opinion, Jets proved they can move the ball. Unfortunately the lack of execution and sloppy play leads to TOs
They're averaging 21 points a game, not 3 touchdowns a game. With the way they're playing, I think "7 field goals a game" is a better way to phrase it
No, they are averaging 2 tds a game. Geno has three, Ivory has two, and Johnson has one. Three against Green Bay, two against Oakland, and one against Chicago. That's a total of 6 with three games. Thats my mistake. I'll fix it in the post.
Redzone offense and turnovers have sunk this team so far. With Decker out we just dont have any big targets on top of questionable playcalling in the RZ. The turnovers obviously are killer. Our D was getting a lot of hate in the game thread last night but they looked pretty damn good against a great Chi Offense.
That's part of it. But the fact that they seem to refuse to run the ball with a hot RB just blows my mind.
And this is why we are 1-2. Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Always the single most important stat. Always.
Our OC has to help out our QB, no? Our OC has to know we have a 2nd year QB with a suspect O-Line, yet Marty continues to overlook that. Plus the run-game is suppose to help Geno as well, but Marty refuses to properly utilize the run-game.
