Willing to lose is not what they said, they said find another job we don't want you anymore. Perfect Jet prospect.

He was a great FA signing once upon a time, but he's finished at this point. He & Snee formed a dominant ride side of the OL for a few years, but now he just doesn't have the quickness to kick out in protection. He also doesn't get out in front & maul like he used to.

He gave up more pressures than Hunter did last year and our QB doesn't get the ball out anywhere near as quickly as theirs does.

    Big, fat pass.

    Hell no.

There are a decent amount of FA RT’s that could come around a similar price but have a lot more upside and years left. Pass.

I would take the old Kareem McKenzie back in the green and white but not an old Kareem McKenzie which is what he is now unfortunately.

McKenzie may be a slight upgrade but right now is a below average tackle. There really aren't any good right tackles on the market this year. The reason why the jets kept hunter around is because they knew the talent pool in free agency was on par with hunter. I expect they will address this need in the draft because they don't have many options.

I distinctly remember noting, during a Redskins/Giants game late in the season, that McKenzie was getting beaten on almost every passing down. Eli looked like Sanchez running for his life. No thanks.

Had he not left for money, I would have no problem bringing him back, but he did. So....... fuck him. There are other RTs out there better than Hunter.

I'll repeat what the other guy said.

McKenzie gave up MORE PRESSURES than Hunter last season.

Yeah, fuck that guy for not taking a lowball offer from the Jets and going to a team that paid him more and won two championships!

    What nerve!

Idk, the success of Bryan Thomas over the last 13 years would definitely make me want to be a Jet.

    Oh wait, there was none....

McKenzie did leave for money which I do despise him for, but it's not like we wouldn't have done the same thing.
