Official cut Flacco thread

    He brings absolutely nothing to the table. I'd much rather see Streveler out there, at least he can scramble.

    Yeah, unless there's something that I can't see (like locker room presence, coach on the sidelines, mentor, etc) Flacco has no place on this team - and I've felt that way all year, even when he led the Cleveland miracle comeback. I think it's a real mark against this FO that he's on this roster at all.

    Do we really need a "cut X player" thread for every player on the Jets that sucks?

    Everyone knows Joe Flacco sucks and fumbles every time he touches the ball. He's gone next year.

    I’ve been saying this since his first run here.
    Haven’t seen a veteran QB less interested in playing or mentoring since Vick.
    Just collecting a paycheck.

    And then we actually traded to get this guy back?
    I think that was to keep any sense of competition away from Zach which is a double logic fail.

    It'd been obvious for a while now that Flacco is only hanging around for the paycheck. Can easily save a buck and get a faster younger better replacement by sending Joe home for good.

    He can do all those things and be inactive. I see no reason to put him out there at this point.

    Yep! There is no point in putting him on the field. No matter how much you hate Wilson, he's gotta be better than Flacco. And if they're insistent on keeping Zach on the sideline, make Streveler the backup.
