Funny, in Friday's PC Mangini said he'd do everything he can to avoid a 5 hour wait on the runway, guess it almost worked. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/12/21/long-plane-trip-for-jets/
NOT GOOD!!!!! Anyone who's flown significant distances knows it's takes awhile to shake it off / loosen up. I've flown for a bunch of surf trips and that 1st day or 2 is an adjustment
i bet we got 45 really pissed off players just lookin for someone -or something- to hit. since their girlfriends and wives aren't around, i feel REAL sorry for the seagulls.
I took a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico about 8 years ago. My jet lag was so bad, i slept the first day we got there, and was pretty out of it the second day. Flying from New york to Seattle adding in layovers and sitting in the plane does not bode well for the jets being loose and relaxed.
I don't understand why Seattle would play for Holmgren today when A)they haven't played for him all yera and b)Holgmren has already said he'll coach again someday so this isn't his last game ever.
I am hoping the the importance of the game and the recent Pro Bowl announcements will give the guys enough of a boost to leave with a win..... A loss today would really make me question the team regardless of what they did midseason
