Ireland taking over all Dolphins team responsibilities. Parcells apparently acting as a "consultant".

Parcells doesn't want to take responsibility for the "shit brick" he laid on the Miami roster......when that team implodes this year.

Guess Bill wants to spend more time at the track.

Now the question is does he find a new team to resurrect in when his contract is up, or does he finally retire?

I go with the former. He loves football too much to hang it up.

Where would he go? Jax? Alot of teams already have their own "guru"s who are turning them around. I can only think of a 1 or 2 who don't. He'd never goto Oakland.

    Jax...I don't know...

    AYFKM?

Oakland gave Nnamdi 16 mil to keep sucking.

Imagine what Parcells (who obviously does not count against the Cap) would be worth to them....

Al Davis is insane. He would NEVER give up his power, which Parcells would obviously demand.

Good. As a Parcells fan, I'm hoping his days with the gayass Fins are numbered.

I'm thinking he'll either be coaching the Bills or the Chiefs in a year.

Bills would be a feasible destination, but the KC brass really bought into the Belly relationship with Pioli.

Detroit? The Rams? I wouldn't rule out anyone, but...

Buffalo may be too big a challenge... for any man. And I don't think Pioli and Parcells could coexist in KC.

Detroit and St. Louis are both teams that are already on the upswing and making geat strides towards improving, so there'd be no real need to bring in Parcells.

Buffalo and Jax seem like the most feasible destinations.

Maybe he's really done then. I just can't see him in either of those cities. The spotlight's not bright enough for him.

My first thought as well! I hope he and his family are ok.

Parcells took a job working for Jerry Jones. I'm not saying he'd be great at co-existing but there are a number of ex-Parcells coaches on that team already. He wouldn't even have to do all that much tampering to get a CS.

Well, Pioli is Parcells' son-in-law, so... who knows? Maybe you're right. Weiss and Crennel are already there. I just have a feeling they want to make it go in KC with what they've got.

Likewise. Parcells is one of my favorite football guys of all time and I hope he's around long enough to get back into TV. No one was better at it!

Considering the sad state of the Dolphins when he arrived and where they are today, I would consider his re-build of that team a success.
