The third string quarterback of the 1-5 Chiefs with I believe something like the 32nd ranked offense in the NFL has yet to throw an incomplete pass against the Jets through the first half? I'm done, it was a nice 36 year run bleeding Green and White each weekend. I'll now watch NFL games like I do English soccer games: not cheering for any team in particular, but watching any random game because I enjoy the sport. Best of luck guys and gals. That is definetly true,but also a shot in the dark. Would you not like it better if for once,we could have a team that dominates and wins the division and doesn't have to rely on luck until we are finally mathematicall eliminated? I know I would. I would like to think we did not go get Favre to me a mediocre team,and be stuck without a QB thats worth shit until we once again hit rock bottom at the right time to catch a franchise QB coming out of college. MSU Jet, your so off balance on the talent aspect it's not even funny. Thigpen had a very, VERY, good college career. Gonzalez is arguably one of the best TE's in the entire NFL, and Dwayne Bowe has been a stud since the first time he walked on the field. And, that is just on the offensive side. Their defense has some good talent too. You need to remember that most players int he NFL were "one of the best" at their position in college. Either way, it is good riddance. I am just one of those newly found jet fans due to Favre, and not even I am about to toss in the towel. It's tied 14-14 at half, Favre had a bad half, adn teh defense only gave up the two scores. I am overall happy with the defensive performance. The offense (in particular, Favre) needs to get back on track. I think favre got a little swagger back just before half as he had two pretty nice balls right before the Leon Washington TD run. So, I am not throwing in the towel on this game, or the season. I think the Rams are still beating NE, Miami is tied with the bills (we want miami to win, naturally), and were not behind either. So, it could work out that the Jets may gain major ground, as every team ahead of them loses (bills and NE). So, toss in the towel? You give up far too soon. One bad half by Favre doesn't mean the game, or season, is over. Thigpen looked sharp, sure, but so has Matt Ryan. Just because the guy hasn't played hardly any NFL football does not mean he is a bad player. Favre was viewed just like him at one point, as with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
Nevermind. the jets are awesome. We don suck. We are not struggling AT HOME AGAINST THE CHEFS with favre as our QB. We will make the playoffs and win the superbowl,and favre will play 7 more seasons here. Rah rah and all of that shit
