Yes. I need to believe this.

Yeah, I was just about to make a similar thread. I see him playing longer than Favre if he chooses to. Definitely not been injury prone due to the help from his line. But even when his line breaks down, he knows just when to take a sack and instead of getting hit, he just falls. His awareness of the defense is incredible.

Manning is going to retire as the best player in NFL history, without question. Brady looks to be going downhill and Manning only gets better.

I think Manning is the best QB ever. If and when he wins the super bowl again I think other people will start to agree with me.

no doubt he will end up as #1 on most people's lists in the future. As much as I hate him as a Jets fan (and how I rue the fact that Parcells couldn't talk him into leaving school early for the Jets), I happy I'm going to be able to tell my kids I saw the greatest to every play. I just hope that that conversation comes up cause he's tired of me telling all the Jets Superbowl stories though

Totally agree....Peyton makes it all look so easy. Probably due to the fact that his mom and dad have had him in football pads, playing football in their modest backyard, since he was 5 years old.

He NEVER gets beat up & thrown around like a ragdoll, like Brady does.

Yeah, but it helps to have the OL protecting him that Manning has versus Brady. Plus, look at the weapons that are all healthy for Manning to choose from... all that stuff adds up.

Agreed. I've never seen Brady look as good in the playoffs as Manning looked today.

Brady's OL hasn't exactly been the weak part of the Pats team during their run.

the difference between manning and brady is that brady is a product of a system. Manning created a system

Yeah, I can't think of anyone who has ever been more valuable to their team than him. He's one hell of a QB, probably will go down as the best ever. He truly is like an offensive coordinator on the field.

I doubt you're the first to think this....

I know one thing, he's the best right now... and Brees is a distant 2nd. Brady will need to come back pretty strong to get back in the conversation. He was the best for awhile, or at least the near equal of Manning. But not now.

do you think collie and garcon are any good on a team like the seahawks or jaguars?wayne and clarke are weapons the rest are products of peyton's play.

You could make that same statement about brady in his SB years. Throwing to no name receivers that never did anything once they left NE....

Manning is one of if not the best of all time, but he has always had good offensive weapons to work with.

I think he has done his best work this year... getting to the SB with less to work with than other years when he had more talent around him.

No he wasn't. This win brings him closer to Brady but he's still not ther yet. Even w/ a SB win he has 1 less win and 2 less apps not to mention I don't think Brayd ever had to beat the 5 and 6 seeds to advance to the SB.

If anyone thinks Collie and Garcon are just products of manning you have no idea what you are looking at. Those guys would be huge weapons on any team w/ any QB. This was not Jabar Gaffney and reche Caldwell out there.

Manning is the best QB of the decade and Collie and Garcon would not be anywhere near as good any where else. He has made the receivers he's played with better. You can deny it all you want but Brady's gone down hill since Weis has left while Manning has gotten better every year

Brady went 16-0 since Weis left and broke many of peyton's records despite playing outdoors in the Northeast.

Brady clearly is headed in the wrong direction since the injury and peyton is clearly closing the gap but he is not there yet.
