Only if the big name guy is good.

I want Mike Hass in the 4th round. He will be a dependable WR. Will have a Proehl/Chrebet type of career.

schlegel wasn't that much of reach. smith prolly was. there was a strong chance that we cudda gotten him in the 4th or even the 5th.

i wudda liked it if we took norwood at 71 and schlegel at 97 so much better. the smith pick was useless. i thought we were set at safety going into the draft. wtf?

Bing is not smart. He also plays in a tuxedo (meaning he doesn't like contact and that's bad for a safety).

Simpson is a terrible tackler (that's bad for a safety).

I don't love the Eric Smith pick because it is bad value at the 97th spot. But Bing and Simpson not being drafted by the Jets is nothing worth being upset about.

Are you aware that he was benched for five games, including the Alamo Bowl due to a lack of effort?

I didn't studder! Didn't our coach learn from BB & BP, if he is worth the money as a coach he can get Gabe to play.

Or justr as easy, give him a contract with lots of playing incentives. That uasully works to motivate.

Bryan Cox is on the staff. He could help to light a fire under Watson. But, every NFL team has passed on Watson thus far, so don't get upset if the Jets do so again.

How about Elvis Dumervil to come in and be the 3-4 pass rushing LB?

I will be mad if we pass on him. Hell I don't think he will be left by time we even pick.

Watson reminds me of Hawthorne of last year. Only difference is Hawthorne had a pot problem and Watson has an eating and laziness problem.

Last year half this forum was crying that the Jets didn't take Hawthorne. As it turned out Hawthorne was a turd.

This guy was fun to watch in college, but he reminds me of that psycho from Virginia Tech, Corey Moore. Another prolific sack artist on the short side of 6 foot. I doubt Dumervil can be productive on the NFL level.
