This week we find out how good we can be or more important how far we can go. The Jets have to show what we have this weekend, with the Pats in Indianapolis for a battle, if we can take care of business we could steal a march on the rest of the division. Buffalo is a tough place anytime and with Favre in our ranks the noise is going be even louder than usual. I honestly believe that if we start strongly and make a statement on either side of the ball we can win this game. The first couple of series are going to be huge. This is what I would like to see; 1. Solid running game from the get go. This is an obvious statement but I want to see some real intensity from our guys, Jones and washington like the high tempo the Jags display with Jones Drew and his back up keeping the defense on guard all the time early. 2. Favre to play extra smart and not give up any bonehead turnovers in the early part of the game. This is the type of game we brought Favre here for, he has the arm, experience and surely must have a good part of the playbook recorded by now. 3. Defense has to show some real attitude, lets play some real smash mouth football and let the Bills know this is the new Jets. 4. Coaching staff has to give these guys a chance. Some aggressive play-calling with a little innovation, lets see what we have and how well we can execute. This Sunday could see if we are ready to claim the AFC East. Are you with me ar against me, I think the Jets will win this game. How say you?
My heart says yeah . Unfortunately my friggin head buts in and says wait and see. I will know in the first 2 or 3 series what I think for sure then. Other than that havent seen enough good from us to be definitive
We got this. Buffallo is alot like Arizona earlier this year...good team with solid talent everywhere but not good enough that we're clear underdogs IMO.
just highly inconsistent and they won't do what works best. The individual talent is quite impressive though.
This is certainly the kind of year you know even less than normal what kind of team the Jets are this year.

Schott denies it, but he does seem to be affected by media criticism. I think that because of all the complaints about 'Lectric Leon not getting enough carries he will give him the ball 10-20 times against Buffalo.
