Obviously Mo Wilkerson is going to hit the jackpot but Austin Howard has been reall solid all year. Next year will be the end of Kerley' rookie contract and I would even give Cumberland an extention. Not alot in free agency in 2014 and I think these guys a valuable role players.

Wilkerson will command the most dollar so I definitely see us spending some major cash on him. Howard and Kerley, I don't see us spending TOO much money on them - both will be resigned also.

My guess would be 5 year 64 million. Something like that, he doesn't seem like a selfish I wanna be highest paid kinda guy.

Someone should start a separate players that need to NOT be retained or cut thread. I'll start the list: Cro, Pace, Landry, Gates, Holmes to name a few.

Ill never understand the hate for Pace. Sure he didnt live up to the original contract, but hes making the vet min on a one year deal, he brings veteran leadership to a young team, solid player who helps set the edge and brings a little pass rush. I for one want him back on another vet deal if he doesnt fall off a cliff come next offseason.

Also Cro needs to be restructured but I want him back as well as long as it works for the Jets.

Ceo needs to be retained. Not only is he very talented and a good corner, but he's also a team leader especially on defense.

We should also try to get Revis back if the new regime doesn't want him...

Why does not wanting him resigned equal hate? Secondly, Pace setting the edge is a myth; he is notorious for losing outside containment. Go and rewatch the last game; the longest runs the Pats had all game was because Pace did NOT "set the edge". The first was the Ridley TD when he got sucked in inside and the second was in the drive when the Pats scored a FG after we just went up 27-21. That time he failed to lineup correctly. These are mistakes I expect our young players to make, not our "veteran leader".

I'm all for extending the youth movement to the secondary and having Milliner and Walls as our top CBs going forward.

Not to mention he's quite awful at tackling, see Fred Jackson's 59 yard run.

Once Wilkerson gets his extension, I finally might buy a new jersey.

Without a doubt Wilk needs to be re-upped. Howard has been solid and it would be nice to get him back. Kerley is turning into a very good receiver, he needs to be extended. Cumberand? Nah where good, we can upgrade that position.

Wilk is a no brainer extension this offseason. He's still under contract, but i wouldn't play around there.

Howard has really impressed me. It was an audition year, and he's stepped up to prove he deserves a deal. Even with re-signing Howard, we need to find a legit OT backup. An entire season can falter with a downed Tackle.
To that end, i want Colon back next year too competing for a Guard spot. Even if we upgrade, and he loses a competition, i still like the versatile depth and what he brings to the pulse of the team.

I'm onboard signing Kerley if price is reasonable.
Cumberland i was really down on last year, but have to admit he's looking much better this year. Depends on how he does rest of season, and ultimately how cheap we can sign him. i wouldn't re-sign Winslow.

Sanchez and Holmes clear up 16.5 mil, and will be gone.
Cro and Harris i would retain. would be great if we could get a slight restructure tho.

It'd be nice if these players played out their contracts they have and then asked for a new one instead of signing one and then holding out for a better one.
