Plea to all fellow Jets fans

The stadium atmosphere has been really disappointing this year?? Were you at the Colts game when Justin Miller returned the kick for a TD? That was the loudest I've ever heard the stadium in my five years of season tickets.

This year the atmosphere has been awesome, and we must kept it up. This could be the statment game we've all been waiting for. I can't wait!

 

That's 50% of the home games, you know that right?

 

Basically weve had 2 games that were pretty good atmosphere, 2 real shitty atmosphere's. We need to be rockin and shaking the stadium sunday. Make ears bleed.

 

By this logic, shouldn't the fans stay out and tailgate until the middle of the 2nd quarter?

Then come in and talk to each other and not care about the game?

When that happens the Jets are 2-0.

When any passion or noise is made the Jets are 0-2.

 

The only other two home games we had were against Miami and Detroit and we pretty much had both of those games in hand until the late game TDs to make it kinda close.

I'm sure the Jet Faithful will be up for this one.

 

I was at the Lions game and it was alright. Now, it was my 1st NFL game so obviously i'm going to say it was loud since I haven't been in a stadium that big with a pretty big crowd, over 70,000.

I have to agree with the original poster, the crowd has been awful this year. The start of the Colts game was awful, no energy at all. The Dolphins and Lions games might as well have been played in a nuetral site. The Patriots game was pretty much dead until the come back. The stadium is usually 1/3 empty at kickoff since everyone is still drinking themselves silly in the parking lot. At half time same thing. Then against the Dolphins when the game wasn't completely in check half the stadium leaves early? One thing we know about this team is that the game isn't over until it's over. Basically our fans have sucked this year, I've been to all 4 games and between the mass exodus before the game is over, not being in the seats for kickoff of both halves and just a general crappy feel. I know season ticket holders who sold their seats because they thought the team was going to be awful. If your a real fan you don't care if the team is 2-6 or 5-4 you go to the game and you make noise. I had a fan behind me asking who is number 63 and who is number 87? Please stay home if you don't know that. I know it's a cool thing to go to an nfl game but we need real fans there not this bs that we've seen the first four games.

 

Every game I have been to this year has been slightly disappointing.

IMO , What happened here is the early Bailout fans made because of the anticipation of a 4-12 season.

You get fans who don't make noise cause it's their 1st game or the seats were given away.

If the JETS keep winning It'll get better unless the seats were given up for the whole season in which case they should be BANNED for LIFE!!!

i've been at college all year, missed every game, but drove out to the pats game in foxboro last week and it was awesome. And this weekend, I'll be home for thanksgiving and the bears game, and ill be pumped as hell. Section 239 will be rocking, or ill stand up (i sit in the front row with my whole family of 5) and we'll make em get up...This place will be shaking, and Ill be slamming on the scoreboard hanging down in front of my seats as we whoop the bears

 

I'll be at my first home game of the year so I will help to get the crowd pumped.

 

I dont think that the stadium atmosphere has been that bad this year. But anyway i will definitley be getting there a little earlier for this game and The Meadowlands will be rocking on Sunday.

 

Although at the start of the colts game there was alot of orange showing down in the lower section. I was so suprised to see that.
