In this Jets 7 Round mock draft Ekwonu, Hutchinson, and Thibodeaux are gone by pick #4...what will the Jets do in this draft day scenario?

I think the free agency plan has made the picture more clear, but there will still be loads of speculation as we head towards April 28th.

What do YOU think the JETS will do in the draft now that free agency has arrived?

Hope you check out the mock: Like, Comment, and Subscribe!

    Well done.

I really like the Hamilton pick at 4 if the guys you mentioned are off the board. Do you think JD entertains a trade back at 4 to a team looking to jump Carolina for a QB?

The Christian Harris pick I absolutely love in that spot. LB was such a glaring hole on D last season it’s evident that will be addressed.

not thrilled with the Walker and Watson picks to be honest though. I feel Walker is a boom or bust prospect that was on one of the best Ds in college history. He has unbelievable athleticism but is far from being a polished edge rusher. He could be a Danielle Hunter but can also be a Dante Fowler as well… At 10 if we went edge I’d prefer Johnson

Watson is also boom or bust. His hands aren’t great and doesn’t show clean route running abilities. He really only has one elite trait and that straight line speed. It’s concerning he didn’t transfer to a division 1 team and wasn’t an all American in division 2. I wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole to be honest. There are too many really good WR prospects we could get at 34 to gamble on Watson. If you want to gamble on boom or bust with that pick I’d go with Williams or Pickens.

I think you did a great job with this mock. Especially like the Kyle Hamilton pick if, and it's a big if, the others are taken. In fact, I would take him over the O lineman as well. I don't like taking safeties this high either, and I hated the Adams pick back then, although I did think he was a great player for us. Nevertheless, Hamilton seems to be one of those special players that doesn't come around too often, so I would grab him if given the opportunity, but only if the 2 Edge guys are gone. Don't know much about the WR in round 2, but it sounds okay. I like Chris Olave and would take him if he fell that far, which I don't think will happen after his combine performance. Nice work!

Like this mock addresses a lot of the Jets problems.

Very interesting analyses--like it a lot. Personally not sure about your OT and CB choices but you convinced me of your top 5 and the TE out of Nevada.
