I mean if the jets continue to take after the Ravens does this mean we are going to sign Plaxico?

We needed a murderer on this team, would have given us a fear factor for other teams

A grouping of Ravens is listed as an "unkindness." I believe now it will join a grouping of Crows and henceforth be known as a "murder."

Oh for gods sake he didn't exactly loose control of the car and run into a nice caring old lady that was taking her dog out for a stroll... the idiot was crossing a highway in the middle of the night where there were no indications of a pedestrian crossing! Why does everyone keep forgetting that? Just because he is mexican and poor he gets away with being an idiot too?

Stallworth wasn't drunk... he had a 0.12 alcohol... that's nothing!!! In Italy you have to be under 0.5 to be able to drive.

All your hate on Stallworth is just because your equation is:

Stallworth = rich NFL player = asshole

Pedestrian = poor mexican worker with family = victim

    That's just retarded.

PS And I would kill all those assholes that in Italy (but I imagine in the US too) are REALLY drunk and run over people who have NO FAULT (unlike this guy). I'd like them to have a death sentence... this to show you how much I hate them. But this isn't the case...

Plus Stallworth might be a bad NFL player but he never broke the law once before this hyped up thing... but he is rich so he's an asshole right?

That said it's certainly an upgrade for the Ravens... Mason + Stallworth + guy drafted in the first round is a good crop of WR, not young but serviceable.

Looks like the Ravens are trying to steal the Murderer's Row nickname from the Yankees.

You think Ray Lewis is unproven ?

Like him or not the guy is one of the best defensive leaders in the history of the game.

And any jet fan could only beg for Harris to be half the leader he was.

You drink, you drive, you wind up going from the Browns to the Ravens?

So.. in Italy you can drive as long as you're living. Is that what you're saying? You can't be a corpse and drive in Italy? No shit huh?!

Otherwise you made a really good point. I know the causeway where Stallworth hit that guy and there absolutely should not have been any traffic on that road. Sure he was driving drunk (by legal standards) and he is in the wrong but the road he was on a pedestrian is such a rare and improbable occurrence. It'd be like seeing a highway in Pennsylvania that's not under construction.

What? What I meant is that having alcohol in your blood doesn't mean you're drunk... you get the first syntsoms after you have about 0.5 to 0.8 mg/l... therefore if someone drives with 0 alcohol or 0.12 alcohol it's the same and doesn't make you loose perception of what's going on around you.

    That's .05 - .08, not .5-.8 (assuming that stat is accurate.)

.5 would be a fatal to most people

either way 0.12 is over the legal limit and is considered driving drunk...

you can say the pedestrian is to blame, but guess what, that Pedestrians have the right of way law stands no matter what or where you are. driver is deemed at fault for hitting them probably 98% of the time.

also are you saying that the poor mexican is more of a victim than if Stallworth had hit bill gates aka. rich white guy? or what about my uncle who is a poor white guy? are they considered more or less the victim than the poor mexican?

for the most part it is. Yes if someone literally runs out in front of you then yeah they are at fault.

but if there is enough distance for you to reasonably stop you are deemed at fault. It appears in this case Stallworth had ample time to stop as he flashed his lights at Reyes and still hit him going 50 mph.

If I am wrong, in either of my point, go right ahead and find a way to prove to me and I will more than happily concede that I am wrong. I may have worded what I orginally said poorly, but the basic intention is as I understand the law true.
