Just curious about the draft order. What did we end up with for Washington's 2nd pick.

I think 6th pick in the 2nd round.

we swapped 2nds last year(we moved down, skins up) and they gave us the 07 2nd as payment....then we still took the guy we supposedly wanted all along in Clemens

    Great trade by the Jets!
We got Clemens and 5th pick in the 2nd round this year for the 4th pick in the 2nd round last year.

Fitm....if this is the order of the first round...how do you figure the Jets get the fifth pick of the second round and not the sixth?

Oakland, Detroit, Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Arizona, Washington

I believe the way it works is, teams who finish with the same record swap positions each round. Washington would then pick 5th in the second round, Arizona 6th since they both finished 5-11.

I believe that this pick is going to yield one of the best players in our entire 2007 draft, maybe even a better selection than our #1. The draft will be so thick at 38-40.

Not necessarily just three. My point is that this will be a very deep draft, and many excellent prospects will be available early in the 2nd round at several of the Jets' need positions.

We're likely to be selecting somewhere between the 38th and 40th overall picks, or the 6th to 8th pick of the 2nd round, due to the rotation between teams with Washington's record.

i hope it goes to good use. we've had a bad history with the second round, though recently it has been good to us.

I'm excited to see how Tanginibaum fleeces some dumb team this year. Last year, he got Minnesota, Washington, and Oakland.

we also got a 6th rounder last year. Trading with the Redskins is great. It's so easy to fleece them. Just ask Denver.
