    they still kind of do the same thing, just an updated version but I love seeing the 80s versions.

    there used to be a bunch of nice intros from the Shea days on youtube but it looks like they have been removed

    Cbs and Fox have always had cool intros.

    It's the primetime intros that are garbage. Don't need a song from Carrie Underwood to get pumped for a football game.

    I can't stand the self announced player intros where the barely literate guy drawl on for 8 seconds "Michael Humptydump....THE .... University....of....South....Carolina.....at.....Chatanooga....Night.....School....Division"

    Or "The U". Or THE Ohio State University.

    Or a barely comprehensible mumble followed by a high school.

    STFU. Just put a screen shot up there with the names.

    Was gonna say the same thing....if you had to point to one single reason why the Jets never got any respect, that was it. The only team in the NFL (and in all major sports?) without its own stadium...or at least to have to share a stadium with another team in their same sport and league (NFL). And sadly that's still the case.

    ...I remember those days back in the 80's growing up, having to take a lot of heat from the neighborhood kids for being practically the only Jets fan among a bunch of Giants and Cowboys fans. (all thanks to my stupid uncles who decided to root for that loser "pantyhose Joe" and his soon to be cursed team lol!)

    Agree with you 100%. LOVE this theme song, gets me pumped up every time. Can't wait to hear this again on Opening Day 2015.

    watching that steelers-jets 04 playoff intro really pisses me off
