Born in Brooklyn and played for the Dodgers in their last year in Brooklyn. Was one of Casey's Amazing Mets in '62 and the bullpen coach of the actually Amazing Mets in '69. I don't know that I ever saw him interviewed, because who interviews the bullpen coach, but he was a larger than life presence for one small Met fan for years.
