Gase hurt Ryan Tannehill and he is hurting the development of Sam Darnold. Once Ryan Tannehill got to another team and another HC, he has become a top ten QB. I still believe Darnold can be a franchise guy, but Gase has to go and Darnold needs a proven HC with a good OC and QB coach. I would love it if Johnson would sell, but he won't. It is almost like he uses the Jets as his tax write-off. I feel they should give Harbaugh anything he wants and total control with a guaranteed contract as GM/HC if it would get him to leave Michigan. I doubt you will get a good HC with our correct GM.
Look I love Sam but if we really flame out and get the first pick, and Trevor Lawrence is staring in our face and we have a new coaching staff, then Its gonna be hard not to pull the trigger with Lawrence. Now having said that, if we finish in the 3-5 range and Chase from LSU is there he's my pick and hopefully mims, Crowder, and Chase are enough weapons for Sam to work with Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
I still think Sam can be a good NFL quarterback, but if we get the top pick, we're better off playing the odds and drafting Lawrence.
