Just stop. Honestly. The dude definitely did enough to win today, its clear he's not surrounded by enough talent. So just stop. Bottom line: Stephen Hill catches that ball - they win Defense stops them with a minute and a half - they win Soooo...how exactly is it his fault?
i feel like i'm living the same Sunday every week for the last 4 years. lets play the what if game... what if sanchez doesnt underthrow hill in the end zone for a pick when he was open for a TD?
This topic is being discussed in so many threads already. If you were gonna create a brand new thread for the same old topics, don't you think you should post something intelligent ... like with analysis or stats. I'm getting the "Leave Brittney Alone" vibe when reading your opening post.
It's not all his fault, but this team isn't single handedly bring him down. He was part of the reason we lost today, but not close to the MAIN reason. He was part of the problem, not the WHOLE problem. I would probably point to 3-4 things before I pointed at Sanchez for this loss. He deserves some blame. Yes he did enough to win, but also because the ST forced a fumble and the defense made some key stops. At the same time he had some huge plays to keep the game close. He alone didn't perform well and he alone didn't lose us this game
It's out of control. Makes you wonder what it would be like if Eli didn't win the Super Bowl that year. Would the fans have run him out of town like so many are dying to run Sanchez out?
Sanchez made some good plays, and there were some bad ones too. He wasn't a total disaster today, which was good. He also managed to exploit a bad secondary which was nice to see.
If you looked at this website during the game, the Sanchez hate climaxed when he under threw Stephen Hill right before halftime. At that point it was a Stephen Hill lovefest, and Sanchez was the goat. And then in a bizarre turn of events....
Funny thing, if Sanchez doesn't throw a pick-6 last year in the 3Q against Denver, then Tebow probably isn't the back-up QB for the Jets this year, and he definitely isn't in the playoffs to work his magic against Pitt. Sanchez has dug his own grave over the past 2 years. He is, at best, a very average QB with the potential... errr, I mean propensity, for making a game-changing mistake on any given play.
as bad as the patriots defense is I don't think people understand how difficult it is to drive down the field with Kerley, SChillenz ,Hill and Keller. With a run game that's been seen just once (Colts) On the road in Foxboro He made a great drive that started at the 8. Yes, the pick and safety were bad but he also played great in the fourth Blame Sanchez AND the defense AND Hill AND the line. this with Holmes out
Whats the point of posting stats, this is the friggin internet and everybody here goddamn watched the game fool. We saw it with our eyes and judged it from that, I know what the numbers are, so does everybody here. Take your anger out somewhere else.
You actually missed the most obvious one , 3rd and goal , run the ball. It was not all on Sanchez but He did contribute with 3 turnovers . Hill dropped a potential game changer, but far and away Sporano's ridicoulous play calling with 3rd and 1 near the goal line was mind boggling .
Sanchez is one of the bottom 5 QBs in the league. Period. He's below average. He has moments where he looks good and moments where he looks terrible. He obviously has NFL level talent, but he's has some major flaws in his game and is very inconsistent as are most bottom tier QBs. Today he had a mostly good game, but he also made three costly mistakes. The pass to Hill was horrible. It should have been a TD or at least a FG on that drive. He also had a man wide open short that would have gone for about 15 yards. The safety was on him. Poor execution on the hand off. The last play of the game was on him. Did other players make bad plays? Yes. Did the coaches make bad decisions? Yes. They aren't absolved either, the fact is that for Sanchez to have a mistake free game where he also has a good game seems to take a lot. That's not an average QB.
I was trying to be generous in saying Sanchez is average. And I think that, at his very best, he is. Most of the time, though, we get nowhere near his very best.
Sanchez made a bunch of great throws today into tight windows. He missed a few also to then again so did Brady so does every Qb. The difference Brady rarely throws the ball over six yards. Sanchez played great today. For everyone calling him stupid he saved five points by kicking that fumble out of bounds.
It's actually rare for a QB to play a game without making any mistakes. There are always mistakes, it's how you limit them and comeback from them.
Why doesn't he carry this team to victory for once... He is too much of a pu$$y, that's why...Tebow doesn't have the QB talent, but is the biggest winner on this team of dolts...
Its not all his fault.. He did make enough plays to win. The problem is he's not turning the corner and avoiding the stupid plays that hurt us. Yes he did put the jets in position to lose, but also was. A mitigating factor in the loss. He just doesn't make enough plays. Sparano certainly isn't helping..not that I liked shotty at all, but I can't stand these 3/1 shotguns. While greene had a monster game last week, he not better than mckight. Time for mcknight to start. He's more explosive and reads the blocks better. Sanchez isn't good enough for the jets to have no running game and bad play calling.
what if my aunt had a cock, she'd be my uncle... ITS A TEAM SPORT, THE FUCKIN GUY TRIED AS HARD AS HE COULD, GET OFF HIS BACK...
